Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a member of SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. In addition to serving as the SSC's Artistic Directors, Lauren Ash-Morgan also served in the capacities as producer costumes/set designers, composers/music directors and text coaches. Though she typically led the acting group, in her last year as an actor in SSC King Lear, she was promoted to director and lighting designer.
